This was my first experience of hiring a lawyer and I have nothing but praise for the service I received from Kim and I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a divorce attorney. He took the time to explain things I had questions about and was also very prompt in returning my phone calls and emails. Most of all, he seemed like a lawyer who actually cares about their client.
This is just my opinion, on my experience this far with Kim. First, he is a VERY well spoken person, who listens and genuinely wants to find the correct strategy that fits YOUR case needs. He's honest, open and upfront. Personally I'd recommend him to any and everyone. He isn't outrageous on his price/rate. And, in truth he cares about those involved it seems, far more than the money he makes. Which I feel more attorneys should be like that. 10/10 would recommend. And you can't change my mind on that.
I hired Kim Byrd in 2017, as a single mother I paid him everything I had. He wasn't even willing to fight my case. After I paid him over $3500 of money I had saved, he showed up to mediation and after I denied what my child's attorney was offering me instead of helping me fight my case he decided he no longer wanted to represent me and withdrew. So basically I paid him all of my savings so he could file paperwork, come to mediation once and left me to fend for myself. I lost the case and now my daughter is dealing with issue... read more
