This is not an Italian restaurant, not quite sure why its marketed as such. Not sure though what to call it. The chicken cutlet was a thick breast with a very sweet sauce topped by bagged shredded mozzarella that charred under the broiler without melting. The penne was puffy, overcooked. The rosé on the penne consisted of the same sweet sauce. Ambiance didn't get an invite. Feels like a movie set called "restaurant". Service isnt professional--being too comfortable with patrons isn't good. Won't be back.
We celebrated my son’s communion at Killick Kitchen yesterday, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The menu had a great variety of options—impressive enough to satisfy even our picky (and very honest!) Italian family members, which says a lot. Incredibly rude. Walked in, wasn’t even greeted. Was asked “for how many?” in a rude tone. We said 7, and the woman responded in an incredibly snarky way, so we said forget it, and left. Context is, we are a visible minority group of people. It gave completely discriminatory vibes. Unbelievable and no room for businesses like this. Always good, fresh food! Chicken club wrap special was great. Fresh ingredients with yummy grilled chicken. Server Sidney is always so helpful!
