I would not recommend renting this apartment. The management is unresponsive and dismissive — maintenance requests took weeks (if they were addressed at all). The apartment itself looks nice in photos but is poorly maintained: leaky faucets, broken appliances, and thin walls where you can hear everything your neighbors do. On top of that, the building is infested with pests, and despite multiple complaints, nothing was done to resolve the issue. The rent is far too high for what you get. Avoid renting from Killam Properties at all costs . Very shady business practices , tons of complaints all over the internet , with very poor reviews . They give little thought in who they hire , and will try to rip off their tenants by any means possible . They routinely illegally enter apartments when the tenants aren't home , and theft is rampant within their buildings . Lived at Parkwood Village, Saint John NB for a while. First, I take issue with the man, I think his name is Ned, who made a point to say he keeps people on monthly leases to get rid of people if they are ‘problematic’ and it’s like, Ned, maybe people should be able to live somewhere without that kind of NIMBY-ish behavior. Kind of sad for a man who is just an employee, not an actual owner, take such a professional stance. Second, my Unit has leaked no less than three times.
