Our birdcage project was a disaster! They were supposed to pour the cement floor in the morning. The crew(and us) waited for the cement truck. It got to be 6:00 at night and I said you can’t pour and finish by nightfall. I got an immediate irate call from Chuck, and I mean irate! They ended up pouring just before dark, and I had to set up lights (my lights) so they could finish it. They were done at about 9:00. Since it was about to rain, I said to cover the new concrete.
