What a wonderful afternoon we had with Marnelle as our guide through the history of Kiepersol, the winery, the distillery, then topped off with a tasting of wines and spirits. The wine tasting was nice. There was a huge list to choose from. Sweet, red , white and spirit. It was 5 tastings for $20 a person. We went to celebrate our 11 year anniversary.
We decided to die in here for their lunch and let’s just say it was amazing. Starting off the service our servers name was Grady and he was excellent. He exploited us a little bit about the history of the winery and distillery and also told us about the tours and tasting experiences they do. Kiepersol is amazing!! The wines are top notch, and their spirits are wonderful. The restaurant serves expertly prepared steaks. However, the best part is they truly care about each & every person who visits. They are the BEST winery/distillery in East Texas. 😍😍😍
Mix and match wine/spirits tasting for 20$. Kevin was respectful and accommodating. Excellent peaceful place to relax and unwind. Barrel no 33 was by far the best of the tasting: velvety, fruit on the nose, smooth, and delicious. Jimmys 10year is the oldest bourbon in Texas, 128.1 proof, and rich in color. Flavor was complex, warm, and rich. Definitely would return. Indoor and outdoor seating. The Italian sandwich with pesto, with salami, pepperoni and cheese was 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 not to mention perfectly crisp.
