Cheap fabric, insanely overpriced, and not American made. Very disappointed to see them advertise “made in the USA,” then when my sweater arrives it has the label “Made in China.” Not to mention the sweaters do NOT wash well even if you follow the instructions. Do NOT recommend. Save your money and buy a low quality sweater elsewhere for a lot cheaper
Highly inconsistent sizing which I assume is due to multiple suppliers. Coloring on website can be quite different in person. Overall, I’ve been happy and dealt with the inconsistency. One example is three pairs of cords I ordered- the green was bright in the picture and dark as can be in person. They’re rather tight and form fitting just like the red stag cords I ordered which is trendy or was, but they’re borderline uncomfortable. We came all the way to RI to visit this store from Texas while on our fall foliage tour of New England. I've been following this brand for a few years but have never purchased. I'm so glad I waited to buy from the actual store. What a lovely collection of sweaters and flannels, beautifully decorated store, and the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We bought several things we will wear for years and years.
Love the quintessential New England style of this store and the clothing. Very happy with their customer service, as I had purchased a sweater and it immediately began to unravel the first time I wore it. When we made a return trip (from Dallas to Newport) the following year I brought the sweater with me hoping they could repair it, they allowed me to exchange it. I was very thankful for their help since it had been over a year since purchasing but they still made it right!
We have buried to visit this store TWICE in a row and at 6.39pm on a Friday and a Saturday they’ve decided to close the store early!!! What a waste of my time and parking!!
