I bought my 2019 Nissan Altima from this dealership. The car buying process went smoothly and I was happy with my car. It was used and started having transmission issues, so I took it into this shop. It needed a whole new transmission, and they said it'd take about 2 weeks to fix. No problem, my warranty covered the cost, and it was at 100k+ miles, so issues are to be expected. I have a new Mazda under manufacturer warranty throwing some error codes. The service department at Kiefer has declined to do any warranty work on my vehicle. I've been told this is because of one of a few reasons: the warranty won't cover the work because the vehicle has been serviced elsewhere (it has not), generic "liability reasons", and at one point, a comment about "this happening when you shop around for a car" (my car was not purchased at this dealer). I'd suggest going elsewhere.
I had a very pleasant interaction at the dealership service center today with Dustin. There was a silly problem with my car and he quickly fixed it. He even added in humor and levity to an inconvenience of a situation I’d caused my car. Thanks so much, Dustin & Mazda!
