This place is great!!! I ve purchased several works from Kiechel over the years. I was back in Lincoln last week and checked out the new building. WOW -- they renovated a late 19th century music building on 12th and O street (near campus) in Lincoln. The first floor focused on Contemporary Nebraska artist -- Keith Jacobshagen, Dan Howard -- and many more. Kiechel Gallery carries mostly over-priced paintings of no-name living artists. I found very little high-end quality originals by artists in demand to be interested in purchasing. Thought the gallery was mostly for show and found Buck and the gallery staff s knowledge of Fine Arts disappointingly limited.
