First time visiting since the renovation, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. I had a voucher from the previous management that still had at least five visits remaining, but the new ownership refused to honor it. While my child was playing, another child carrying a sharp toy suddenly scratched my child's face. The other parent made little effort to stop the behavior, didn't take the sharp toy away, and couldn't even have their child apologize. It was frustrating to watch. I took my child to Kids Play Gallery in Gaithersburg and unfortunately it didn’t meet expectations. The space is small, which is totally fine, but the issue is that the play areas felt empty and poorly maintained. They have cute themed “little towns” a library, ice cream truck, diner, vet clinic, fire department, but most of them barely had any toys. This place is under new management and I’m loving the changes! My 2 year old son enjoys the new setup and additions — but he still loves the original village side with the storefronts. The entire place smells fresh and new — literally. The front desk staff are routinely putting things away to keep things tidy for all. Restroom smells fresh and clean. Plenty of places for parents to sit and watch.
