Dr. Edelstein made comments about my 13 year old daughter’s body that made her uncomfortable. Stated that me she had chicken legs, and she needed to eat more.
Nice experience with Dr. Edelstein, she is the best, I recommended very much!,,:)))
To be honest our experience was (and is) very good. Dr. Edelstein has a comprehensive approach and shows lot of care and excellent professional advice.
White suprem?cist and n?zi.
I saw Dr. Sylvia Edelstein in 2007. I was 15 years old and she told my parents I was making up twitches on the right side of my body because of the mean girls at school. My parents advocated for me demanding an MRI which showed white matter lesions on the left side of my brain. On the order for the MRI, Dr. Edelstein made it clear that the parents were pushing for this, and if I didn't accept her assessment I could see a foot doctor to examine my gait as a next step. Instead we went to Children's Hospital in DC where I was d... read more
I totally agree with what the person from Kensington who posted on Nov 3rd 2017. Wish I would have read that review before going. I blindly went at my pediatricians referral. I had a very similar experience with my child who had a concussion. She said she did not believe my child because my child was inconsistent with the response to her finger movement for the eye test. A child that has double vision would differ when they see it based on placement of her finger and there is no way she was and my child was in the same exact... read more
My son has been seeing Dr. Edelstein for a number of years for ADD treatment. We have appointments every 3 months or so. She is very nice, checks on his progress regularly, and offers helpful guidance to him on issues (such as the importance of good grades) beyond medical advice. He previously had a bad reaction to two different types of medicines that other doctors prescribed. She found the right one and explained to him how the medicine works and what he needed to do.
Dr. Edelstein was rude and abrupt. My daughter had a concussion and lots of symptoms and she said that 24 hours after a concussion you can go back to school full-time and that my daughter's symptoms didn't matter. She said unlimited screen time (computer and tv) was fine for someone with a concussion. She said my daughter could do absolutely everything except play football. I'd like to give her zero stars but that's not an option. . She is so wrongheaded that she is a menace to health.
My daughter has epilepsy and I feel as though all the appointments are the same. She reads through the chart, asks us if we have any questions and we're out in 10 minutes after waiting sometimes in the wait room for 10-45 minutes. I feel as though its always rushed and not a thorough check or engaging conversations that would make my daughter and myself more comfortable with leaving with the doctor concerned with her health. Office wait room is very small.
