Was so glad I found them as I was a nervous wreck once I saw that it was required to have completed a mediation class and the mediators on the state of Iowa's website were all about $200 an hour which I could not afford and they were very helpful and did it for free a blessing

So thankful to have a resource like Kids First in our area. The director, Jenny, puts her heart and soul into helping children in our area meet their full potential notwithstanding any conflict or trauma they may otherwise experience at home or school. I wish I could turn back the clock and never have hired Kids First. They were far from impartial. They were EXTREMELY APATHETIC telling me constantly to get used to the idea of 50/50. They deemed my kids constant and worsening mental health adjustment issues. I sent video and audio of the actual hell it was to drag my kids (crying, kicking, screaming, holding into furniture) to their dad's. Circles with Ms. Judy are a great way to work through conflict with another student and also a way to understand the needs of other classmates as well. A class, family, and system have many important players and circles help to create understanding and growth.
