I recently received an invitation from Kids & Company for an event celebrating Pride Month with Sara Cunningham. The event is intended to discuss diversity, acceptance, and inclusion with kindergarten-aged children. I am appalled by the complete lack of judgment and understanding shown by Kids & Company in planning this event. Introducing such complex and mature topics to children who are barely out of preschool is not only inappropriate but entirely misguided.
