My son attended this academy about 2 years ago, and he is still traumatized by the treatment he received while attending this extremely high-employee-turnover-rate academy. They cannot keep quality personnel, so they hire almost anyone. My child was allowed to be bullied while in attendance here —the staff personnel actually allowed it. We first came to Kiddie Academy of Cornelius in early 2024 when our oldest (and at the time only) son was two. The facility hadn’t been open very long at that point but we were experiencing more and more issues at our previous daycare provider and felt we needed to make the move. My son attended Kiddie Academy from March to August of 2025 starting in the infant room and then moving up to the 1 year old class. We have been signed up to move out of this school since May as we were waiting for a spot to open at a different facility. Deeply concerned with this daycare children left unsupervised, unsafe environment, staff using inappropriate discipline, I reported this to their state licensing Michelle I strongly encourage other parents to thoroughly research before enrolling their child here. Safety and proper care should be the minimum. This daycare does not meet that standard. Also very strict on budget cuts, children used to be able to get 2nds if they ask for more but unfortunately now they get small portions to where they are still hungry.
Our daughter started at Kiddie Academy February of 2024. Our overall experience at this location has been good. The facility is nice, open and they also have camera access. They have additional programs kids can participate in like soccer and yoga (an extra fee) which is great for exposing kids to different sports and leisure activities. The teacher turn-over is high.
