Our history starts in 1976 when Kelly Kidd, a Math teacher who sold tires on the side, decided it was time to open a shop. Kelly's father was a school bus mechanic, so you could say an aptitude for automotive work and services is something that runs in the family. I scheduled an expensive repair with Kidd that another mechanic said I needed. Kidd was honest, they told me I didn't need the repair and saved me $1300. All I actually needed was an alignment and two new front tires. I have frequently found, if you're female mechanics like to quote you work you don't need. Finding someone honest is a rare and beautiful thing. I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you Kidd Tired.
