We moved to kelowna a year ago and struggled to find a cabinet maker we could trust to make our kitchen, bathrooms, closets and decorative shelf cabinets, for our renovation. We approached several companies in kelowna for quotes. Kelvin, Kieth and Pat spent a lot of time with us to get our custom cabinets perfect just the way we wanted them (we are extremely picky/fussy). Matt and his crew did an excellent job on our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Due to a few unexpected finds, that were due to original construction in the 1990s, the project ran over timeline and our patience ran thin a few times. Matt handled a few of our meltdowns with total professionalism and adjusted the plan to try and get things done as quickly as possible. It's been a year in our new space and I love the kitchen layout he chose for us and wouldn't change a thing.
We hired Matt and the team from Kid Contracting to turn a dead space in our basement into a functional room. Matt and the guys were great to deal with. Even though we were a small job, we were treated with respect and professionalism. Matt dealt with all the city hall permit work. All our permits were done properly for each trade. Started off great. Then went sideways after 1st week. Went way past deadline. His plumber tried to embezzled money from our family and threatened to kill us. Had to call rcmp. 2 weeks to lay 140 sq feet of tile. I did almost all demo and prep for him. Find a good contractor that sticks to his timeline and word. Had to hire another contractor to take load off of him. His knowledge is good though. Don't regret it like we did. Takes on more work than he can handle.
