We adventured to Kauai two weeks after Hurricane Nolo to help support the local businesses. What a delighted to find Kickshaws on the banks of a nearby river in Hanapepe! What a gastronomical delight tucked away in this cute little town. The Awesome Burger was a delight to enjoy and they even had a vegan version for my wife in the form of a delicious falafel burger. My cousin and I had the opportunity to try the Freakin’ Fantastic Chicken Sandwich at the art walk last night, and it did NOT disappoint! The chicken sandwich was, as the name promises, freaking fantastic! It was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. It also came with green beans and potato chips as well.
