I can only recommend KickFit Haven to anyone that needs a new challenge and is working on their physical and/ or mental health. With the variety of classes and her own personal experiences, Kat has SO much to offer to anyone that is open to learning. The classes cater to any age and ability, and Kat has created a beautiful community of like minded women. I have been training at Kickfit Haven for 10 months now and I’ve honestly never been to a gym that is as supportive and inclusive as Kickfit Haven. Kat is so patient and has so much knowledge to share. With Kat’s guidance and dedication plus the support and encouragement from the Kickfit family I have achieved things I never thought possible, I’ve not only gained confidence, strength and mobility but also a group of women who I now consider family.
I have been training at kickfit for a few months now and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to build confidence with your training in a safe place with like minded people ❤️
When I moved to Mount Isa in Feb, I was looking for a martial arts gym. I search and found Kick fit Haven and have never looked back. The whole team has been so welcoming. Kat is very knowledgeable and super nice, she is always up for a chat. I didn’t have any friends when I moved here but all the women have been so welcoming and have made me feel included in everything. We are not only a gym, we are a Family.
Prior to joining KickFit I was stuck in a rut & full of excuses such as being time poor as to why I couldn’t workout. After chatting with Kat about making time for me, I finally went to my 1st class & fell in love with the sacred space. Muay Thai discipline has taught me a heap about myself in both a physical & psychological level. I always walk away from class on high for achieving even minuscule goals.
