Best Austin Boutigue – Kick Pleat's new location at 12th St and Lamar is adorable! All the things I love about the store are still there... KP has fantastic shop girls that are ready to help but will allow you to wander with out pressure, and of course the unexpected, cute, funky and edgy lines are as always, precise and distinctive and have been chosen with a rush of bloodto the heart. The store is TOO COOL FOR YOU! – Shop here if you don't mind being ignored, looked at like you are dirt, and treated like "you have no money, you aren't going to buy anything here, so I don't need to assist you"... I'm sorry, but customer service, friendly attitudes... are a must in retail. Apparently, they don't need to make sales to survive.
Snappy Staff – The place has really great things, albeit ridiculously pretentious for south Austin. The staff was so rude to me and my friends who were from out of town that I will never go back. The staff was snappy, rude and rolled their eyes as we shopped. This is Austin, lighten up!
Beautiful Unique Clothing – I have come across some really great pieces here. And really incredible dresses. I love the decor of the boutique. The owner's dog also makes it fun and not too uptight. Sometimes, they have really amazing sales and I have lucked out.. or just spent alot more than I intended to anyway.. : >
Great apparell that no one else has – Kick Pleat is a really cool store. It flows well and has a great feel. I like that the owner brings her dog! Great place if you can catch a sell, otherwise it's a bit pricey. But it is designer stuff.
