Ordered spicy tuna rolls from here today. The seaweed inside the rolls was stale and chewy sadly.
I had a very disappointing experience in time of my food pickup restaurant due to the staff’s behavior. The personnel were rude, unprofessional, and lacked basic customer service skills. Instead of being polite and helpful, they acted impatient and disrespectful. Receiving the order should be a simple process, but the unpleasant attitude made the experience frustrating. I hope management addresses this issue and provides better customer service training to their staff. The food was average.
I was browsing and looking at the sushi when one of the shop keepers was keeping a close eye on me since I had a tray of sushi in my hand. I was still browsing and he asked me rudely, "Are you going to pay?" As if i were a thief or something. I've never felt so insulted being so closely watched and asked this question as if i were a criminal. I always pay for my stuff and i have never stolen in my life. I found that very rude and insulting. Also their sushi does not taste good or fresh so I won't be back anyway.
This is not like any Kibo sushi I have ever bought from. I usually spend $30- $50 but decided to grab a couple California rolls at the end of the day. They barely had anything else to choose from, which is to be expected at the end of the day, however, I was so shocked at how rude the woman was at the cash. They barely fill the sushi roll, and they are much smaller than normal. I won’t be buying from here again just based on the attitude from the employee. Edit: Went back and gave them a second chance, was really scared to get the spicy rolls because of last time but I checked the bottom this time and it didn't seem oily. So I got it when it was the end of day sale and it was good this time! No complaints. I LOVE sushi however this place really disappointed me. I have never in my life thought there was "oily" sushi before until I tried this place. There was an end of day sale so I took advantage and got spicy tuna and spicy salmon.
