Edit: Went back and gave them a second chance, was really scared to get the spicy rolls because of last time but I checked the bottom this time and it didn't seem oily. So I got it when it was the end of day sale and it was good this time! No complaints. I LOVE sushi however this place really disappointed me. Very expensive and it doesnot worth it. I got green dragon roll for $8.50 . A big piece of sweet potato, cucumber and the tiniest shrimp that you can imagine was inside it.
Every time I come here, the ladies working are so rude. They are so frugal about extra soya sauce and chopsticks. Really wish there was a better option at Hillcrest Mall.
I frequently order from Kibo, so I'm very familiar with their menu. I even consulted Door Dash before placing an online order straight with the Hillcrest branch to make sure I was ordering what I usually did, an Aburi Mali Platter and the Maki and Sushi Platter B.
