Ordered a number of items and asked if it could be out on a tray which they kindly did for me. Overall I think the sushi was good.
This is not real kibo sushi. How is this considered a branch location. Food quality is completely different. Grocery store sushi level. Bad
Such a pleasant surprise and honestly a lifesaver. The sushi is fresh and well-prepared, especially the tempura rolls, which are consistently great. The end-of-day avocado, yam, and tuna rolls are also a fantastic deal and still very tasty. Even with the discounts, the quality stays consistent. The staff are polite and welcoming, making the experience even better. It’s also a good thing this place is walkable from our new place, even in the winter, so we’ll definitely keep coming back.
Food is not bad with great price. If you go to the mall in the afternoon after 3 or 3:30 pm, there is 20% off on all the rolls and sushi but still very fresh. Make sure to try their green dragon-they are very tasty with rich flavor of avocado -I feel red dragon is OK.
I LOVE sushi however this place really disappointed me. I have never in my life thought there was "oily" sushi before until I tried this place. There was an end of day sale so I took advantage and got spicy tuna and spicy salmon. It was SO oily and disgusting my husband and I just threw it out. The crispy bits or panko in the sushi were so oily that the oil was leaking out at the bottom of the sushi and you could see the oil on the bottom of the tray. The taste was also just so oily.
