Very difficult to be treated for flu. Refuse to prescribe tamiflu, because I didn't know I had the flu the first day.

My late husband and I found Dr. Khawar years ago when Dr. Chow left Springville adult care. Since them my mother moved here and became his patient, then both of my children sstarted with him after they became adults. We all think he is terrific, he is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to refer to specialists when needed. He is very kind and follows up beyond what most Dr. would, it is clear he takes the responsibility of patient care very seriously and is dedicated to being a family physcian.

I don't like doctors much. I do like Dr Khawar. I needed a primary care doctor and stumbled into his office through my insurance carrier's web site. He was close enough and had a new pt. opening sooner than anyone else. He greeted me with a very kind politeness and began discussing why I was there to see him. When he listened to my chest he showed immediate concern and asked about family history of heart disease. Some discussion and a Rx later I went home.
