My husband and I changed to Dr Kahn and I am so happy we did. He has helped us both but really helped my husband with a lot of issues and found away to help him. I m so thankful that we changed to Dr Kahn. This doctor makes you feel like he really cares and like family. The only thing is he is slow LOL I complain about it but I SURE wouldn't change doctors ever. He listens, does not rush, gives options to solve problems and ultimately lets me decide what path to take. Office staff are laid back and friendly but busy and you have to call a few times to reach them sometimes. Wait times are long but worth it because I know I’ll get my fair share of time when it’s my turn, so make extra time to wait. Everyone is different but this practice has helped me a lot through some tough health challenges and I’m doing better, thanks to them.
Dr. Kahn ordered tests that were unnecessary and expensive. When we asked him to call us to discuss his rationale regarding the tests he ordered, he never returned our request for a phone call. Dr. Kahn also has a habit of speaking over us, and when we have asked questions about our health, he said we should just “trust him” because he is a doctor. If you have an appointment at 9:15. He usually does not show up to the office until 10:00. So you will need extra time
Dr Khan cares. That’s the bottom line. He listens. Actually listens and is never condescending. He is the kind of doctor that would have made house visits in the past. Compassionate and cheerful. I think the world of him!
The doctors are great, but I have reservations about the office overall. I live 3 minutes down the road, so I was excited to have a highly reviewed doctor so close to home. I’ve been there 3 times now, and have always waited over an hour. I understand that he does spend as much time with you as you need, but I truly have to schedule at least 2 hours out of my day for a visit. Also, it took them 2 weeks to call me about my ABNORMAL blood work, which freaks me out. I’m conflicted.
