Scheduling an appointment online was a breeze. I waited for a little while upon arrival but it's a doctor's office and I assumed I would be anyway. The nurse was very nice, and so was Dr. Gist. I felt valued during my exam and conversation regarding my health and concerns. Terrible communicators unless you're standing right in front of them. Dr. Gist, herself, is a nice person, the entire office is just ran very poorly.
I visited Dr. Gist office today for lab work & with hopes of discussing weight loss. I arrived 10 mins prior to the appointment time. There was one patient in the waiting area that was called to the back 1-2 mins after my arrival. After check in, I sat in the waiting room for 50 mins before asking the front desk the estimated wait time before I would be seen.The technician heard me ask and replied “It’s me. Dr Gist has been my PCP since 2018. She is very sharp and understanding.
Dr.Gist is a great doctor, she is very thorough and never rushes you. She gets down to the problem, and whats wrong instead of just covers it with a bandaid. She listens, and cares. Probably one of the best that I've had, because I've felt heard. I give her 5 stars, because she's a great doctor.
