I would strongly advise thinking twice before eating at this KFC / Long John Silver’s location. My order was completely unacceptable. I ordered a fish and shrimp platter with two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. I did not receive my coleslaw, and the mashed potatoes were the only part of the order that was correct. The main issue was the food quality — the fish and shrimp tasted like they were cooked in old, burnt grease. The staff is rude every time I visit. Tonight to went to the drive through around 7:00. The person in front of me ordering was having a full on conversation with the drive through worker which lasted a minimum of 6 minutes. Two cars behind me drove off. I would have sooner but my mom wanted chicken. I finally get to the speaker to order and was asked to hold a moment. Two minutes later they asked me to hold a moment. I get Kfc a lot and I just recently moved back to Lexington, this was one of my favorite Kfc’s growing up and so it was really nice to head back here for the first time in almost 10 years. Anytime I go back to a place that I loved after so long I always worry that it won’t be as good as I remember.
