I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak yesterday with very little time to spare. When I arrived back at the office, I noticed that the entire meal was cold, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The location appeared to be short staffed, which may have contributed to the poor service and food quality. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location. Overall experience: 0/10.
A little while back I tried, KFC (Central Ave EO), for lunch. It was a Wednesday so they have a special for, Country Fried Steak, and I decided to try it. It was fairly decent. It’s cooked fresh so it can take a little while, but it has such a nice crisp to the exterior. The steak tastes more like a country sausage, rather than a beef steak (it may be a sausage patty?). Today (8/19/26), I had the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a KFC. It almost felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. Everyone was polite, and waited patiently (looked like most were ordering the Wednesday special-Chicken Fried Steak, and they can only make so many at once.)
