I live in Dunn, NC and we have a KFC with a buffet. My wife and I have eaten there many times over the years. The last few times in 2024-25 the service has been less than average and often the workers were rude and unfriendly. But the most disturbing thing has been generally, the fact that you have to almost beg them for your desired chicken on the buffet. Fast service, fresh hot food
I drove from Virginia to experience one of the last remaining KFC buffets, and it was 100% worth it. The friendly staff were a huge highlight for our visit! Both the buffet and the customers were well taken care of. It's fun to get to try items that aren't typically on the KFC menu, like grilled chicken, liver, and gizzards. We'd recommend the cobbler and the chicken and rice (shoutout to Ms. Monica!).
