Sent my sister in to take my cat because I had to care for my small kids. I informed that her that I knew my cat had asthma and all I wanted were X-rays and medication. The vet informed my sister my cat needed a heartworm test and to be sedated. I agreed on sedation, knowing my cat he probably would’ve been difficult but not impossible. I did not agree to the heartworm test because I know it’s rare for a cat to get that. Very good place to go for your pet service. The staff actually cares. I highly recommend it.
We recently had a pet that made a one-way trip to the vet. They were beyond amazing. If i could give 6 stars, I would. They had a comfortable room for us, let us tell them when we were ready, explained what was going to happen, discussed options for the body (arranging for cremation with the remains coming back to us so we didn't have the hassle of making arrangements), and gave us an option of leaving out a side door. I was very pleased with my experience at KVC. I do not usually vet there but my small dog had an injury that my regular vet was not able to accommodate. They got him in right away and the provider was very thorough and caring with her exam. I was in and out in an efficient manner. You can absolutely tell that they care about the animals and customers that they treat.
