I recently completed a 30 day course at Keystone. While there I was required to dig deeply into my addictive tendencies, but in a supportive and caring way. The work was intense but rewarding, and I believe that my 'acting out' is behind me. Everyone receiving treatment was committed their own recovery as well as mine, and we all supported each other. This programme deceptively presents itself as a treatment facility offering 1:1 staff/client ratios, psychiatric support, outings, licensed marriage and family therapists and an intensive family therapy experience. They also state that patients will be assisted in their recovery by incorporating education, a family systems perspective and a trauma based approach. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Keystone Center ECU. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and understood. David, Jody, and Nick are absolutely incredible — they took the time to help me truly understand my addiction and guided me toward gaining real awareness of my illness.
