Maintenance for HVAC system was fast. Got our air running back to normal and left before we knew they were here. Keys to the Lake always takes good care of their tenants.
I can’t stress enough please do your research into this place, Kate (unfortunate I have a similar name as her) contacted my sister after i left a review! Trying to get me to take down my statement! Well I would also like to receive my full deposit back so I guess we both wont get our way. Cleaned and prepped the house for our move out better than it was cleaned for us to move in. Oh boy where do I begin. I’ll keep this as short as I can. Rented from them for a year, right on the water. While their customer service is friendly, definitely one of the worst property management companies I’ve rented from. We failed to read the fine print on our lease when we told a relative they could temporarily park a jetski on our lift, completely our fault but what bothers me is that it was parked there for 45 minutes before Keys to the Lake told us to move it. I would never recommend this property management company to anyone. Our experience with Keys to the Lake was disappointing and incredibly frustrating. From the start, the house was in unacceptable condition — dirty, unprepared, and clearly not cleaned before we moved in. Despite that, we took it upon ourselves to clean and maintain the place throughout our stay. Their negligence became even more apparent when we were left without running water for several days. I normally don’t leave long reviews, but this experience was so frustrating, disappointing, and frankly, disrespectful that I feel obligated to warn others. When we first arrived at the house, it was filthy. I’m not just talking about a bit of dust — we literally found bricks in the toilet, dirt and grime throughout the kitchen and bathrooms, and clear signs that the place hadn’t been cleaned properly, if at all.
