Called for an emergency lock out. The locksmith they put me in touch with said that the lock on my door was too difficult to pick and charged me $250 to drill it, which took all of five minutes and destroyed the lock. I’d recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re in a dire emergency and can stomach prices like those.
I think this key duplication machine is broken. It would not even scan my key when inserted. Frustrating!
Call for rekey. I think they outsourced to a third party locksmith. The technician was knowledgeable but overcharged for a kenaurd mortise cylinder ($394) to replace a medeco one. Never told us the medeco is a grade one security lock and need a medeco licensed locksmith to replace.
