I duplicated 4 keys, but unfortunately none of them worked. The middle one is the original key. The one on the left, blue one was the “extra smooth service” for $2.99 (haha, look at that result, no edges), and the one on the right was the regular service. I think the reason they didn’t work is that my original key is a KW1 type, but the machine may have copied it onto a KW11 blank. I’m not 100% sure, though. However, their refund system is remarkable, super easy and fast. That’s why I’m giving them 2 stars.
Keys do not fit in locks. I went to Home Depot and they cut correct keys. A refund send appropriate.
I have used a KeyMe machine on 2 separate occasions to cut 5 copies of one original Yale key. To date, all of the 5 KeyMe keys went into the lock but all 5 failed to turn!! KeyMe staff have quickly processed refunds to my credit card, but my family needs keys that will unlock our front door, not timely refunds!! "House key copying" is not a service listed on this survey.
Great result and deals, but process took too long.
