absolutely terrible business practice! I made a call to get a simple quote. They were asking for too much information for a quote so i ended the call after telling the operator why. My reason was because i didn't want my info saved & used to advertise in the future. I just wanted a quote for a either key replacement or total re-keyed ignition. Hung up. Was told he would be here in 1 1/2hrs. 3 hrs later I called and got a different man from the same co. Keyme!! Charge would be 99.00 New guy charged me 220.00 Damaged my door and trim
They'll get you in. Heads up though, If you lock your keys in your car, it'll cost you at least $375. That's what I was charged after 3 minutes of work, and he wouldn't give me a quote on the phone or upon arrival before he started working. He was super nice and professional, but wow. To be fair, he gave me a 'discount' to $300 even, but I think it would be more honest to let people know it's going to cost them an arm and a leg before they call for the service.
