I called about a residential lock out. The tech showed up quickly, within half an hour. Before he did work, I asked how much it will cost. He said 220. He was done in 5 minutes, no damage to the door. Final bill? 307. Suddenly there is a service fee no one mentioned: $69 (nice), and another 18 in taxes. You get 5 stars for doing the job quickly and well, -3 stars for lying about the price. This would have been a 5 star if the first number I heard were 307 or even 289. But that is not the world we live in.
