KeyMe Locksmiths is a total rip off. They say your key price will likely be $2.99-5.99 for basic house keys. Or $5.00-10.00 for "advanced" house keys. The only option I was given was $10.99 for a basic brass house key that I absolutely needed at that moment. Then I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my key to a "much cleaner cut key" for an additional $2.99 per key... really? What... was my regularly cut key not going to be good enough? Used kiosk at grocery store- made three house keys, all of them work. This was very easy.
Trash. Runaround between the tech and phone reps just for a general estimate. Tech figured out I didn't need to spend big money and hung up on me. Called back speaking respectively even though I was upset, the rep rudely transferred to cs in the middle of my sentence. Customer service guy picks up, clearly he didn't give a rip, and he also hung up on me. Keep in mind I'm not speaking in a harsh tone or insulting anyone, politely expressing my frustration. Easy to use kiosk. Convenient location inside Tom Thumb. Key was cut a little rough and difficult to turn in the lock the first few times. It works fine now.
