I have been a loyal KeyBank customer for several years and currently maintain a checking account with them. Recently, I accepted an online offer from the bank to open a linked savings account. Due to a security freeze on my ChexSystems report that I had forgotten to lift, the new account could not be opened immediately. 7/1/2023 Updating my review I was immediately was contacted by corporate office once I posted my original review. I am satisfied with the customer service at the branch and the corporate level however I am not satisfied with the process of signing up for an online account, fraud detection indicators should be on the front end before they collect your personal information and your deposit and not on the back end, so I give that process a one star.
