History Established in 1972. Our business started 50 years ago by Redwood City native Jack Dehoff. Jack began working for a local grocery chain in the 50's while attending Sequoia High. He worked his way up managing several of the chain's stores. When the store at the corner of Upton and Roosevelt, RWC came up for sale Jack and wife Nancy ventured out on their own and started Dehoff's Key Market. Good selection, Organics, Friendly This is a nice little grocery store. The first time I went in, a person behind the extensive butcher counter smiled and said hello. The place is clean and has good product selection. They've been offering more and more organics and I've noticed some great personal products. The service people are always very friendly. great market - no hassles love this little store. its friendly, clean, and I always seem to find what I'm Looking for - and if I don't - they will bring it in for you. Great little olive bar and cute little shopping carts for the kid to use while I shop. I dont find more expensive than Safeway - but Safeway does have more of their "club card" specials - but then again - Safeway checkers and their baggers never talk to the customers - just back and forth to themselves - for the 50 cents I might be saving - I'd take Key over s... read more
RecommendedI love their meat dept and produce dept--Quality and selection are superb--Everyone that works there is helpful and smiling--I have been a loyal customer since 1975!!!
They have always been an important part of the community. Over the past 50 years I enjoyed watching the local boys who bagged the groceries grow up. The Customer Service is the best. If they don't have it they will get it for you. They are a family store. I enjoy shopping at Key.
