This shop was a complete disappointment. I called ahead about pricing for a basic oxygen sensor replacement and was told to bring the vehicle in because they needed to “see it” first, which already raised concerns about their knowledge of common vehicles. After I made the trip, they then claimed they could not do the job because the car had “too many cylinders.” That explanation is absurd and has nothing to do with replacing an oxygen sensor. Their website claims they service Fiats. They do not. I called to confirm and was told they wouldn’t help me and that the website info is not real. Very misleading—don’t trust the online service list.
Bruce & Chris at Key Auto received my car, diagnosed it, gave me a quote, and expressed proper concerns quickly and efficiently. They took a quote from Brooklyn CJDR for $8k in labor, $3k in parts, trimmed the fat, and brought parts and labor down to $2.2k. What more could you ask? This is a no-brainer. There's a reason they've been around for 45 years with unsolicited 5-star reviews.
It's good to know you can still find old fashioned quality service in the city. They replaced my car's AC and I would definitely go back for other services.
