After driving across country and arriving into town, my A/C went out in my van. I was referred to Kevin's Automotive. Walked in without an appointment and explained my situation. The service tech took my vehicle in inspected and found the problem. They recharged my A/C system and sent me on my way in less than an hour.
Easy to get an appointment. I felt like they really cared about both my car and me. I got several estimates and theirs was in the low range after the technician assessed the repair. It actually came out to be less. This is a shop that you can go to, regardless of whether you know a lot about your Car or not and Still know that they are going to take good care of you and not take advantage of you. Great service. I would trust them with any of my vehicles. Some car repair places you feel like you can’t trust what they are telling you. This isn’t one of those. They have always been honest and dependable.
Have had nothing but problems out of my car ever since they touched it. And time after time it has been something associated with the major repair they did. Crank position sensor bolt hole stripped. Heater core coolant line not mounted and fell out of engine block overheating my vehicle rapidly. Banjo bolt for tensioner missing shredded several serpentine belts and ate a couple of alternators before I figured out why. This car was very reliable prior to the work that was done. Don’t want to be too harsh because they did change the wheel barring in my tires without changing for time, but also I paid them almost $5K for a general tune up, specifically telling them the AC needs fixed, seems like all they did was put more coolant in because they somehow missed I had a leak. Plus literally the same day of picking up my vehicle the check engine light came back on
