A good find I've used southside auto for my mechanical needs for years. Lenny has got to be the most honest mechanic that I know of. I've taken my car to him after going somewhere else for an estimate and he's always fair...and he doesn't try to sell you services you don't need. Honesty is a tough find in mechanics services these days... southside is that breath of fresh air.

Allen Park Brake Shop I brought my car to this repair shop and felt that the owner was very honest with his estimate. The repair was done within one day. I have revisited many times always with the same honest friendly atmosphere.

Ridiculous! I have had several cars repaired there over the last 12 years and things have been fine. However, my last repair there was a total disaster. They replaced my valve cover gasket on my 1.8 liter turbo (2002 VW GTI) and screwed the timing. I couldn't rev above 4000 rpm without the engine severely shaking. I just today discovered they also completely ruined my right front hub when they pulled it to replace a bearing and a CV boot. I am absolutely furious. Stay Away! Cannot recommend these folks. Very incompetent. They scratched my wheel covers when while changing tires. They changed my oil and put at least one quart of oil too much in the engine and my rear main seal blew out which is a $500.00 repair. They would not admit too be being the cause even though my oil level was still normal after blowing oil all over the bottom of my truck. Stay away!!

Amy I have been using Ed's Auto Repair for years. The office is efficient and every job ever done for me has been done correctly (the first time) and the car has been delivered back to me in a timely manner. Their attention to customer service is unmatched. I never go to my dealer unless it is a "have to" situation.
An honest auto mechanic!! I have been bringing my car to this garage for the past 5 years and aside from being reasonable (much less inexpensive than my car dealer!!) - they have been absolutely honest with every repair, done all the work as requested, and had my car ready in a timely manner.
