I started seeing Dr. O'Hara a couple years ago when searching for a concierge healthcare practice. Since then, I have been very pleased with my decision. I'm a little health anxious, and as a result, tend to have a ton of questions. The way Dr. O'Hara runs his practice enables him and his staff to spend adequate time with patients to do things like answer those questions, and it's worth every penny. If you have a chronic illness that they haven't identified yet this is not the doctor for you. Dr. O'Hara is very personable and everything started out great. But, I was going through daily suffering with multiple symptoms and I thought I was gonna die sometimes. Everytime we tested for things, they found stuff wrong from gallstones, POTS, inflammation in my lower intestines, fatty liver etc, WBC count was high, my nose would go numb, my limbs were tingly, I had horrible chest/arm pain, very dizzy all the time.... My wife and I spent an hour with Dr. O’Hara recently to discuss my changing medical conditions. He was concise in his deliberations and thoughtful and considerate in offering alternatives that would alleviate some manifestations of discomfort He is an excellent conduit for transferring medical knowledge with patience and clarity. If one wants to have medical care delivered with kindness and understanding I strongly recommend a visit to MCS Joseph P. Prendergast
I've been a patient of Dr. O'Hara for many years both when he was part of a group practice and as part of the concierge service he now offers. I appreciate the excellent care and service provided, the outstanding office staff and personal service. He spends the time necessary whether it be for the annual physical or if other care is required. After a difficult case of pneumonia years ago I felt that investing in this type of dedicated care was well worth the investment.
went for a first visit, looking for a more complete Dr/Patient experience than what I was receiving through Christiana Care. Dr. O'Hara spent the time to get to know my history and during the initial assessment discovered a significant cardiac defect that had been missed over several years of seeing prior Physicians in the "system".
