Dr. Stone was curt and abrupt. He probably spent a total of 10 minutes with me - maybe more consulting with an off-site orthopedist. In the end he did NOTHING. I had broken my arm in a place that was not suitable for a cast. This was an ER visit. I had no choice in the doctor treating me. He does not accept my (otherwise excellent) health plan. I am writing on behalf of my dear 81-year-old friend, who recently went to the Leonard Morse Hospital Emergency Room because of severe pain in his legs. He is very fragile and suffers numerous serious medical conditions. At the time my friend went for help, the emergency room was virtually empty. My friend was frightened that his pain could be related to COVID-19. Kevin Stone was rude, condescending, and arrogant, making an already stressful situation worse. He conducts himself unprofessionally and should question his line of work. Perhaps he has a lot of personal issues he is dealing with but he shouldn't bring those with him considering his current line of work. All of the nurses we interacted with were kind and considerate. On the technical side of interactions, Kevin Stone was okay and he acknowledged that he has limited expertise.
