I went to the ER after a hysterectomy because of severe* pain and vomiting. This doctor told me I was “self inducing” the vomiting and to “stop.” Obviously, I wasn’t making my illness up- because my white blood cell count was almost 30,000 and near the stages of going septic- they had to admit me with an infection and an abscess.
