He used to be a very good doctor for our family. In the last year he has fallen asleep on three of my family members, doesn't return calls, doesn't call with test results, and it takes over a week to get an appointment. If we needed a faster appointment, we were shunted off to a less busy doctor or a P.A. We are looking for a new doctor.
Dr Nurmi is an excellent doctor. Excellent care and kind understanding. He takes time with you and really listens to your concerns. One of the best at Troy Internal.

I have been seeing Dr. Nurmi for approximately 15 years. He is very personable and thorough. I always feel he spends the appropriate amount of time with me.
Inaccurate billing experiences almost every time my wife or I go to the office. On April 15, 2016 my wife and I both had physical exams with blood work. Beaumont Hospital was not notified of a change in health care plans for both of us. Beaumont submitted transactions using our old health plan IDs. This has happened before in previous years. I just happened to notice and called Beaumont Hospital to get this corrected. THIS SHOULD have been performed by the front office. POOR/POOR/POOR!!!!
