I’m not sure why he has such bad reviews. He was very knowledgeable, truthful and straightforward with what he thought was happening in my case and I appreciate the breath of fresh air in his honesty and brain storming with me as we worked through all the symptoms and pieced things together. He is a bit on humorous side of life but I am thankful for his upbeat spirit even in the difficult circumstances. Would drive the 2hrs to consult with him again without hesitation. Thank you Dr.

I believe Dr Kevin Jamison is a racist. I saw him at Providence Portland Neurology 8/15/25. Im African American. He was immediately dismissive and condescending. Within a min of me explaining my symptoms he was rubbing his head and eyes showing blatant irritation then said "i cant help you with this"....even though my sypmtoms are clearly neurological (shingles on face).I told him I experience Aphasia and he sarcastically said "aphasia! Thats a very big word. Well tell me how you experience A-phasia......I dont hear any A-ph... read more

I saw all the reviews before my appointment, and I was a little nervous. But, I'm happy I went anyway. Everyone was really pleasant and kind. Dr. Jamison was very kind and thorough. I was in and out of my appointment in no time at all. I give them 5

I have a complex condition, and part of that is memory problems, particularly around words. I spent the first couple of minutes asking him to slow down and let me speak, but he spent the whole time badgering and berating me, demanding medical explanations from me. When he saw that I was seeing someone for these memory issues, I said (again) that I have problems with words, and his response amounted to 'no kidding.' I tried twice to get him to read the document that I wrote with my concerns, and he refused. Basically accused ... read more

Didn't have the patience for this patient. I had my neurologist retire and was told this guy was my best option of the two available. I'm not easy due to rare comorbid struggles but to say "I don't have time for you on my caseload" All the years and rejections this was the worst. If you need kindness, compassion, empathy, care or anything"extra" , I suggest looking elsewhere. I actually had a virtual appointment due to bad weather, I can't imagine my disappointment if I would have risked the roads for that.
