My sciatic pain started early October, the MRI showed a synovial cyst. Dr.Hwang patiently informed me all the options of treatment during initial visit. When the cortisone epidural didn’t relieve my pain, Dr. Hwang explained again the treatment options. I elected surgery and my pain was gone right away. Dr. Hwang and his PA, Ryan, treated me with compassion and patiently answered all my questions before and after the surgery. I’m so grateful for their dedication and care. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Hwang. I had never had surgery and was extremely petrified. Our appointment prior to surgery put my mind at ease because I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. The surgery itself was minimally invasive. I saw Dr. Hwang early 2024 with sciatic pain that was increasingly getting worse, I've gone through physical therapy, steroid injections, Chiropractic approach, traction therapy and nothing was alleviating the pain.
