Dr. Hwang was fantastic. Very patient, good at explaining diagnoses and discussing possible treatments and likely outcomes. I elected to have spinal fusion surgery, and frankly I was a bit scared. Dr. Hwang was a reassuring presence, and in the event, the surgery went off perfectly. The symptoms I had been experiencing were gone, I was on my feet the next morning, and in the aftermath, I had minimal discomfort/pain. I feel very fortunate to have found the right doctor.
I feel so lucky to have met Dr. Kevin Hwang and to have him as my Orthopedic Surgeon. He really is one of the best doctors in the Bay Area. I was involved in a car accident where the person ran a red light and crashed into my car resulting in a herniated disc. It is one of the most painful injuries. Exceptional Care and Surgical Expertise from Dr. Hwang I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care provided by Dr. Hwang. My sciatic pain started early October, the MRI showed a synovial cyst. Dr.Hwang patiently informed me all the options of treatment during initial visit. When the cortisone epidural didn’t relieve my pain, Dr. Hwang explained again the treatment options. I elected surgery and my pain was gone right away. Dr. Hwang and his PA, Ryan, treated me with compassion and patiently answered all my questions before and after the surgery. I’m so grateful for their dedication and care. I had the best care that I can ever imagine.
