Kevin should be given an award for his lifetime of photography expertise. He’s not only the real deal but also super humble about his excellence and is always willing to go above and beyond to teach anyone who asks to pass on his wealth of knowledge about what’s he’s done for more than 50 years. You need to either book a photography shoot with him or come take his classes - either way, you will walk away with a great deal of satisfaction but also respect for photography (and the photographer himself).

Kevin is knowledgeable, experienced, and excellent at sharing his wisdom. The photography 101 classes was highly informative and gave me a roadmap for how to approach different situations using the power of my camera. I had taken courses at other "stores" and found they raced through the information and were not ideal communicators. I found Kevin's approach to detail to be so helpful. The binder of tips that he provides for his 101 class is constant reference point for me.

I just finished a private class with Kevin on general photography topics and some very specific training on night sky photography. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about photography, operating different camera equipment and any other questions that came up. Kevin is a wonderful communicator and has a teaching style that made me feel comfortable asking any questions I had. I have taken several classes from others and Kevin is the best I have ever experienced. I will definitely be taking more classes in the future.

I had been waiting at least 5yrs. to go on this trip. Our trip leaders Kevin and Gail were so accomodating making sure we got the photo we wanted. Taking us to great viewing areas. everything was well planned out. I couldn't have asked for a better trip. The weather was great and the scenery was amazing.

I took a couple of private 1-on-1 classes with Kevin to improve my proficiency with my camera. Kevin did an excellent job explaining the concepts behind how my camera works and how different settings affect the outcome of my photos. He tailored the sessions to my skill level and interests, making sure I understood each concept before moving on.
