The Photography 101 workshop was very beneficial to me personally. Kevin did an outstanding job in providing well developed training aids and presented the lesson material in a very coherent and professional manner; and his knowledge of the subject is amazing. He kept the class interesting with good student/instructor interaction and practical demonstrations. I highly recommend the course for anyone wishing to explore the world of photography. I highly recommend Kevin as a teacher. He is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at photography. I really appreciated how he focused on helping me understand the why behind studio lighting, which gave me a solid foundation and confidence to move forward with my own work.

I used to love to take pictures with a manual Minolta, and later with a digital Canon, but I never learned how to operate my Canon in the manual modes, and over time I stopped using cameras and began to rely more on my iPhone. Just finished my 2nd course with Kevin, & hoping to book a 3rd course soon. I got a new camera a few years ago for a trip to europe, and wanted to learn how to use it outside of Auto settings. Thats when I found Kevin Gourley Photography. Kevin is easy to talk to, easy to learn from, and never made things seem difficult. I highly recommend his Photography 101 & 201 classes! Doesn't matter what brand of camera you're using, only that you bring it to class.
