Thank you so much I love this guy changed my out look of life. Thank you so much Kevin, He saw me at piedmont Atlanta for pancreatitis, made me feel amazing and comfortable, and got the job done. God bless you my brother will be definitely talking to you soon. Highly recommend this man. God bless and thank you again !!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a second opinion appointment with Dr Kevin Woods at City Of Hope to hopefully clarify & make a plan forward for a colon issue & surgery. He had been highly recommended as an Advanced Interventional Gastroenterologist. He put me at ease immediately, showed that he had reviewed my records before the appointment, addressed my concerns and arranged for me to have surgery. In addition to being an expert gastroenterologist, he also is an expert in communication and connection with patients, taking his time and not rushing. I... read more
Literally the best of the best!
Dr. Woods is an Expert at complex Colonoscopies. He is trained in ‘EMR’ which only a handful of Gastro Docs in Atlanta can do. EMR allows for the removal of very Tricky Colon Polyps during a normal colonoscopy. Dr. Woods is the Best !! Also, very pleasant. His staff is super helpful. I’m very Grateful to Dr. Woods and his Team. The photos below show the weird shaped polyps that Dr. Woods removed using ‘EMR’. A normal colonoscopy would NOT be able to remove these.
Initially, I was impressed with Dr. Woods, especially since I needed a colonoscopy. He was good at conducting and interpreting colonoscopy results but seemed to be unable to remember me or my health concerns after 3 visits. After determining that I did not have colon cancer, he seemed to be unconcerned about helping me address my continued digestive issues for which I had initially sought a gastroenterologist, and his demeanor showed arrogance instead of concern.
