Ordered very thorough, detailed "real" surveys prior to purchase and final negotiation for piece of mind from well known and respected hull and CAT engine surveyors in Florida. Hull survey covered everything from minor defects, e.g. scratches, loose/missing screws, carpet stains, to a few defects related to sea worthiness (all repaired per final negotiations).
