Dr. Cowan is a wonderful surgeon with great bedside manor. He made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood every step before and after undergoing an unexpected appendectomy. He explained all the possible outcomes and possibilities, while also keeping me at ease. He kept my husband informed even during surgery. He is very knowledgeable and capable.
