This was my first time meeting Dr. Ess in Colorado Childrens Hospital and he was so patient with our clinical history and medication review . He knew about my daughters history from previous neurologist in Florida prior to the appointment. He was very pleasant , understanding and spoke to my daughter who is nonverbal , not just speaking about her. He knows the importance of parental input in a child's condition and treatment.
Dr. Ess is head of the neurology dept & highly sought after. It took months for me to get my daughter in to see him & it finally paid off. I am sooo glad that he's my daughter's new neurologist. We've just moved here from another state. He is open to suggestions pertaining to our daughters seizures & recommends solutions. I have referred him to many friends here. I just wish that you could schedule an appts with him sooner rather than MONTHS later.This Dr. is always booked but he's a great D
