20 May 2026: I contacted this office seeking representation. My concern was not simply that the office charges a $400 consultation fee. My concern was the lack of a basic screening before requiring payment. In my view, a law office should first confirm whether the matter is even within the attorney’s practice area before charging a substantial consultation fee.
